Office Update

Note the office will be closed from May 1-13 due to the 56th Annual Meeting of the Canadian Archaeological Association in Saskatoon.

Annual General Meeting

The SAS AGM will be held online via Zoom on Wednesday, April 17 at 7:00 pm. You must be a current (2024) member to attend. Registration will open online and by phone on April 1.

All Points Saskatchewan Archaeological Society:

Anthropology Students Association: The ASA is gathering information regarding the history of our student assoiation so that we may synthesize a coherent ASA History to pass on to our future executive teams. If anyone has any information regarding previous executives, events, awards, timelines, or literally anything else related to the ASA (or Dirt Gang, or AASA, or APALA), please feel free to reach out to us at asaexecutives@gmail.com

Regina Archaeological Society: The RAS is joining the APSAS hosted RAS/APSAS partnered presentation featuring Dr. Scott Hamilton: “Old Dogs Learning New Tricks: Non-Invasive Archaeological Site Mapping”. The presentation is on Wednesday, April 24th at 7:30 pm via Zoom.  For the Zoom link please contact APSAS at all.sas@sasktel.net

Saskatoon Archaeological Society: The Saskatoon Archaeological Society will hold their executive elections on April 19th. Anyone who wants to nominate themselves or someone else should email saskatoon.archaeology@gmail.com. At this meeting, Megan Tomilin will also speak on Mass Spectrometry in Archaeology.
