Happy Spooky Season!

The Archaeology Centre (1-1730 Quebec Avenue) is open Monday to Thursday from 9:00 am until 4:00 pm and on Fridays by appointment. Staff can still be reached via email or by phoning the office (306-664-4124). We are a mask-friendly facility and ask any visitors to please wear a mask when visiting the office. Disposable masks are available for visitors at the office.

Chapter News

All Points Saskatchewan Archaeological Society:

Prince Albert Historical Society: The Historical Society office and museum will be open from 9am to 4pm Monday to Friday. If you wish to visit the Rotary Museum of Police and Corrections, the John and Olive Diefenbaker Museum, or the Evolution of Education Museum, please call the Historical Museum  (306-764-2992) ahead of time. On Sunday Oct. 2 (1-4pm) as part of Culture Days the Historical Museum will be open for FREE. On Sunday, Oct. 9 (1-4pm) as part of Culture Days the Historical Museum will be open for FREE. We will be closed Friday, October 7 and Monday October, 10. On Thursday, October 13m the PAHS Member’s monthly meeting will be held at 7pm at the Historical Museum. Friday October 28 is the opening reception and program for the Kistapinanihk/Omaniciye Makoca/ Tl’ogh Tele “The Gathering Place” Exhibit at 7pm. Regina Archaeological Society:

Saskatoon Archaeological Society: The Saskatoon Chapter’s first meeting of the Fall will be Friday October 21st at 7pm. Our speaker is Alyshia Reesor, and her presentation is titled: A “Lousy” Presentation: Examining Insects and Lice in the Archaeological Record. The meeting will be by Zoom because our speaker will be presenting from Newfoundland. Anyone interested in attending can email saskatoon.archaeology@gmail.com or visit their Facebook group for the Zoom link.
