Chapter News

All Points Saskatchewan Archaeological Society and Regina Archaeological Society:

Prince Albert Historical Society: On Saturday December 11th the museum will be open free of charge from 1-4 PM with a holiday card making activity for visitors! This is part of our series of free monthly events generously sponsored by the City of PA Community Grant Program. Museums will close for the Holidays from December 27-31, 2021 and reopen on January 3, 2022.

Regina Archaeological Society: On Wednesday December 8 at 7:00 PM, RAS in partnership with APSAS presents “The Story of Broken Knife Lookout: Plains Cree Oral Tradition” with Floyd Favel, Theatre Director and Cree Cultural leader from Poundmaker First Nation. Please see APSAS for the Zoom Link.

Saskatoon Archaeological Society: The December speaker will be on Friday, December 17 at 7:00 pm via Zoom. Alyshia Reesor and Sarah Pocha-Tait will by speaking on the 2021 Archaeological Excavations at Fort Carlton Provincial Park.
